The wait is over for new material from The Knife. Karin and Olof has been the most influential musicians of my short life, proving to be a force to be reckoned with— definitely, much more than a phase. I am absolutely in love with Karin’s solo project, Fever Ray, and have definitely acquired a taste for her more brooding and subdued compositions. But I am so happy that they have teamed up again! This song is epic, over 11 minutes, collaborating with Mt. Sims and Planningtorock. Who would of thought an opera on Charles Darwin can sound so good?
